Isaac Boltansky
Managing Director and Director of Policy Research, BTIG
Isaac is responsible for Washington policy analysis and forecasting how potential policy shifts could impact investors, corporations and other market participants. He focuses particularly on financial services, housing policy, digital assets, cannabis policy, tax legislation and Congress. Isaac’s prior roles include Director of Policy Research at Compass Point Research and Trading, Research Analyst on the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and Research Analyst at EJF Capital.

Steve Sorge
Senior Vice President, Public Policy, Essent Guaranty
Steve Sorge serves as Senior Vice President of Public Policy and has been with Essent since 2018. Mr. Sorge has more than 30 years of mortgage banking and mortgage insurance experience.
Mr. Sorge is responsible for public policy, industry relations and GSE relations for Essent. He also represents Essent on various industry trade groups including USMI, Housing Policy Council, ALTA and the MBA.
Prior to joining Essent, Mr. Sorge was with Bank of America for 12 years managing Counterparty Relations and various Risk Management roles for their Home Loans business. He also worked in GE Capital’s mortgage insurance and mortgage servicing businesses for 15 years.
Mr. Sorge graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Business Management.
