Radnor, Pa., June 17, 2014 – Essent Guaranty, Inc., a nationwide provider of private mortgage insurance (MI) and a subsidiary of Essent Group Ltd. (NYSE: ESNT), today announced that Chief Executive Officer Mark Casale was named as the regional winner in the financial services category of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Award in Greater Philadelphia.

The award recognizes outstanding, high‐growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Regional award winners go on to compete at the national level.

Mr. Casale was chosen from a pool of accomplished executive leaders around the region who were selected last month as finalists by EY. The finalists had been chosen by a panel of independent judges from dozens of nominations.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the EY National Entrepreneur Of The Year Program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the EY National Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 15, 2014. The awards are the culminating event of the EY Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high‐growth, market‐leading companies.
