William P. Higgins

William P. Higgins

President, Essent Title Insurance, Inc.

William P. Higgins was named President of Essent Title Insurance in January 2025, having previously served as Senior Vice President, Essent Ventures, since 2014. Mr. Higgins brings more than 30 years of wide-ranging experience in the banking, mortgage and financial services industries, covering the areas of financial management, capital markets, credit and mortgage operations. From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Higgins was a member of ING Direct USA’s senior management team, serving as chief lending officer. His mortgage-related experience includes various senior positions in finance, operations, credit and capital markets at ContiMortgage Corp.

Mr. Higgins began his career as a CPA with KPMG LLP, specializing in financial services and mortgage banking.

Mr. Higgins holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

Nathan Bossers

Senior Vice President, Chief Business Officer (Lender Services), Essent Title Insurance, Inc.

Nathan M. Bossers has served as Chief Business Officer and Senior Vice President since 2023. Mr. Bossers has more than 28 years of experience leading national title companies in their business development, operations, technology and customer relations departments.

Before joining Essent, Mr. Bossers served as President of Boston National Title, which was acquired by Essent in 2023, leading all aspects of title servicing and establishing Boston National Title as one of the largest lender-focused title agencies in the United States. Before becoming president, Mr. Bossers served as chief operating officer from 2013-2020, where he led the operations departments in providing services to mortgage lenders across the country.

Mr. Bossers also directed closing operations and customer relations, as well as a broad range of business development functions for two large national lender services companies.

Mr. Bossers holds a BS in business administration from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Bartko Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting single, minority mothers in their efforts to achieve self-sufficiency.

Jeff Cashmer

Senior Vice President, Chief Business Officer (Agency Services), Essent Title Insurance, Inc.

Jeff Cashmer has served as Senior Vice President in Title since May 2024, having previously served as Special Advisor to the CEO in 2023 and Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer of Essent’s mortgage insurance business from 2009 through 2021.  He has more than 30 years of experience in mortgage finance, mortgage insurance and business development.  In his current role, Mr. Cashmer is focused on growing the company’s title underwriting business.

Prior to joining Essent, Mr. Cashmer served as an executive vice president and chief operating officer for a nationwide mortgage insurer with responsibility for all operations, pricing and sales functions.

He has also held various management roles within the mortgage insurance industry, including in business development, capital markets, international business and strategic planning, as well as underwriting and quantitative marketing analytics roles at the Household Finance Corporation.

Mr. Cashmer holds a BS in finance from Illinois State University and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

William D. Kaiser

Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer, Essent Title Insurance, Inc.

William D. Kaiser has served as Chief Operations Officer, Senior Vice President since 2023, having previously served as Chief Operations Officer for Essent’s mortgage insurance business since 2009. He has more than 35 years of experience in the areas of operations, technology and finance.

Before joining Essent, Mr. Kaiser served as senior vice president of operations for a national mortgage insurance company with direct responsibility for the field underwriting organization, centralized operations, quality assurance and other service-related functions.

Prior to that, he served as vice president of business solutions for a national mortgage lender where he developed and implemented solutions for improved business performance with an emphasis on advanced technology. Mr. Kaiser also has experience managing mortgage-lending retail and wholesale channels, as well as a broad range of staff support functions for financial services companies.

Mr. Kaiser holds a BS in business administration from Boston University.
