The title banking specialist administers escrow accounts, including balancing accounts to ensure accuracy of disbursements. This role will work in our closing operations system preparing payments and reports.

Responsibilities

  • The Banking Specialist is responsible for preparing wires (set up and approvals) in the banks websites for delivery as set up in each file by the closing teams. Pull hourly reports from each bank site to ensure incoming wires are as timely posted in each file needed in the company production system
  • Resolves outstanding check issues utilizing online research and communication by email and phone
  • Print and mail checks to payees and include any required documentation needed
  • Balance escrow accounts as needed when engaged by Recon department to review if any discrepancies are found
  • Review loan information to ensure accuracy of disbursements
  • Internal transfer of escrow funds to facilitate online document recordings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of industry experience
  • Exposure to Escrow Closings on a National basis
  • Experience with RamQuest closing operations system and all integration systems is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as underwriting guideline matrix, lender’s instructions, trust agreements, and purchase contracts
  • Ability to follow all company procedures and policies including meeting the company customer service expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High-level customer service and relationship management skills
  • Ability to productively interact with peers, customers, and management
  • Mathematical acumen to analyze complex equations
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Maintains flexible hours
